Kananaskis

Jeremy and I are spending time together where we were married 2 years ago; the Canadian Rockies. Our ceremony was small with 17 guests and we shared our vows at viewpoint 4 in Kananaskis village. Today it rained and the clouds are low so you can't see the mountains in the background. I will check tomorrow morning and see if they are out.

We were also greeted by these deer about 7 feet from us

but we have to be careful

I am also working on these socks and had to take a good sock picture :P

We have really been looking forward to the hot tub tonight. This next picture has a funny story to go with it...

You can view the hot tub from above and while we were there my dad waited all weekend to catch my brother in there with a bunch of strangers and it went something like this:

Dad (outside looking over the railing): Hey Rob how is it?
Rob (in hot tub): what?
Dad: your diarreah!
(cue people clearing away from him and my brother getting very embarassed and us all laughing our heads off) hahaha [it was from a commercial several years ago]

anyways, this is our first night on our holiday. We are going to stay in Banff tomorrow. We have a lot planned and I am going to try and post everyday.

  2. Thanks Susan. Jeremy and I plan on doing a bunch of hiking in the Banff area and it is a good home base while we are here. We haven't seen any mountains yet, the clouds are so low they have been blocking our view. It is supposed to clear up in the next few days though
